Martin Emanuel deMeunier
Martin Müller (he/him), namesake of Martin Müller, is also D.W. Miller, is also Martin Emanuel deMeunier, is also postconsistency. As this radical practice of name sharing suggests, his work resists all consistency. Martin creates audio pieces that become videos, which become texts, which in turn materialize in space – every so often in the virtual.
He oscillates between performance, media and textile art. He has worked as a tailor in Berlin, studied at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies in Gießen (Germany) and Media Arts at Bauhaus University Weimar (Germany). His works are exploring critical approaches to narration between language and materiality, feedback loops, body representation and modes of sexuality in cyberspace. They have been shown at the Senckenberg Museum Frankfurt/ Main, Ars Electronica Festival Linz, Wien Modern, and KV Leipzig, among others.
